open house was a HUGE HUGE SUCCESS!!! yeap tho our first perf was a lil screwed up, our second perf was got improve leh. heard tt daniel took a vid of our first perf.. hope he'll post it up on youtube or somethin... lol and toking abt youtube, our EZCO perf of leibie is on youtube! here's the link:

oh ya toking abt our first perf tdae, somethin surprising popped up. yongjing, our gu ling zou, was TOO EXCITED when he played the gu duan, and his drum sticks juz *PIU* flew out of his hands and landed right before the edge of the stage. he looked shocked but managed to get his extra sticks from his pocket. hahas. classic moment. luckily the stick did not fly to the audience, or it'll be really 龙腾虎跃 alr.

argh stil got piles and piles of hw havent do yet. so i'll btr plan out a schedule or else i confirm leave til the last week den do one. hais.

AHH STILL CHIONGING HISTORY IMMIGRATION PROJ. pissed. it doesnt make sense. ppl in maths rs dunnid do maths proj. ivp ppl dunnid do sci plus those in sci rs too (i tink). chi rs ppl still nid to do chi proj but IT'S ALMOST THE SAME COZ THEY STIL HAVE TO WRITE JUBEN. but for HISTORY RS?? we still haf to do the stupid proj. ARGH.

算了. jus chiong ba. there're lots of ppl who suffer the same fate as me.

btw if you had realised alr, in my wishlist area there are a few blanks. if u go highlight it (or wateva u call it) there will be my previous wishes. so as you know, ITS HISTORY, so wells might as well cancel it la. and i added a few too. ok. maybe oni one.

and for class outing we're going CHALET. yes yes im so excited. :) but as you ALWAYS know, there are ppl who will always be a PARTY-POOPER. and tis time? our BELOVED FT miss tang. she asked us to book TWO CHALET ROOMS: one for the guys and one for the gals. and when we said no $$, she said, "dolkay. if that is the case the guys shall sleep in the living room and the girls in the rooms. she's like SO AFRAID WE'LL DO SOMETHIN SLEAZY... i screwed my compre test :( my compre test got 12/25. which is a fail by half a mark. then my summary is 17/25. i could haf gotten a B at least. but i now got C. vry emo.

anw tdae prac longteng. vry long nvr prac tis song liao. oni half of my skills were left T.T i tried to play the solo part and at first i off like siao. until after a while i improved. ahhhh~~

and i not confirm whether i'll stil be going for newzealand trip. if its cancelled i'll join the perf. but i stil hope tt yijing wil perf... i dun wan solo. or maybe dorothea will solo. hope so. jy ppl.

tis is quite an emo post coz im rlly feeling emo now. I SCREWED UP MY COMPRE TEST F***... if oni got 1 mark more i would haf gotten a B.

LEVEL CAMP IS CANCELLED :)
yes im vry happy coz apparently im not lookin forward to tis camp. they say its gonna be fun, sure. ropes course and hiking and outdoor cooking. u tink wat, we UG meh. lol.

yes and tmr we MAY get bak our MATHS PAPER. freakin nervous. ms teng said tt there's a widewidewide gap between our marks. some ppl scored brilliantly(confirm not me) and 5 failed (maybe me) so if i dun get a good result for maths ct 2, BYEBYE MY A+. T.T

ok next on. HAPPY CHUIDA DAY PPL. say, the pics on gy blog is hilarious. esp the 'gong soloist'. epic. ok. so apparently there's fenzu tmr, and b4 we're gonna eat CAKE. to me it doesnt sound vry EXCITING. but wells, juz join in the fun luh. then after fenzu we're going KFC again. yes. woohoo :):)

haha everyone screamed. confirm vry happy rite. and they did their tradition: running arnd the campus to announce the results. ok tts diff from ours can. instead we got emo talk from ttk T.T but glad tt their hard work paid off :):) GO DHSCO!!!

ok now for much much emo tings. I COULD HAF RAN FASTER. u muz haf seen tis on my msn and dhs mail. AND YES. its my 2.4... ok I DID PASS. but i WASNT EVEN PANTING DURING MY WHOLE JOURNEY!!! maybe if i pushed myself i would haf done btr, AHHHH~~ ok la. i passed. tts someting to be assured of. hais. :(

went to towner gardens tdae. there looks more lyk a pri sch because of its vibrant colours all over the walls. so at first i stepped into the sch i heard one shout AHHHHHHHHH then silence. i walked a few steps and heard it again. so then i realised i was in a special needs sch.

we went up to the staffroom and got our jobs there. i was in charge of a class S2P with bridget from 2B... so after tt we went to the canteen and saw the ppl. the class was all 14-yr olds but i can see children who look like they're 7 or 8. then i played badminton with tis guy called akball (i hope i spelled his name correctly, pardon me if im wrong)... he's quite pro (ok or maybe coz im lousy -.-)

then we went up to the classroom. its mainly separated into 2 sides. i was with tis tcher called mrs baze (i hope i spelled tt correctly again) and i saw tt they were doin single-digit addition like 3+4=7 and for the faster ones double-digit addition like 15+18=33. some also did multiplication but vry simple ones like 2 x 3=6... they used methods to teach lyk eg. for 2+5 they would draw 2 circles (to represent 2, duh) then count on (5, 6, 7...) and arrive at the final ans. i tink tis method is quite useful as they all understood wat the ppl were saying.

then at the other side, there were the slower ppl, who were still counting numbers (as wat bridget said). then as bridget was trying to teach a girl to count to 5, she sudd broke down and cried. poor thing. coz when she reach 5, she would forget all the previous numbers.

then it was PE. they played tis game called "SHORE, SHARK, SHIP". the shark (me and another guy from 2E) were supp to tap those ppl who are travelling from shore to ship or vice-versa. so i played with the guys and at first i couldnt catch them but after a while they were tired, so i took advantage and caught all of them. MUHAHAHAHA. jkjk.

ok tts abt all of the towner trip. quite fun la. hope ill get to go again. :)

P.S. this is NOT my reflections for e-portfolio. u tink i stupid enuf to put words like "MUHAHAHA" and "AHHHHHH" in the portfolio?! >.<

South Korea reports first confirmed case of H1N1 flu virus

SEOUL: South Korea on Saturday reported its first confirmed case of H1N1 flu virus, involving a 51-year-old woman who returned from Mexico last weekend.

"Test results have confirmed the first probable patient, whose case was reported on Monday, was infected with Influenza A (H1N1)," the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDCP) said in a statement.

The woman, reportedly a nun, who returned from Mexico on Sunday, was among three patients who had been classified as probable cases.

But she has been responding well to treatment and is expected to be discharged from a military hospital on Monday, health officials said.

The two other probable cases – a 44-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man – did not travel to affected countries, raising concerns the disease has passed from person to person in the country.

The 44-year-old woman, also a nun, who lived with the 51-year-old, who was showing symptoms at the time, drove her from the airport to their dormitory, Yonhap news agency said.

Test results for the 44-year-old were not yet available and she will remain isolated in a hospital for the time being, health authorities said.

But the 57-year-old man, who had been also showing probable swine flu symptoms, was tested negative and ruled out.

Tests are underway on 23 other people, the KCDCP said.

South Korea became the 14th country that reported a confirmed case of Influenza A and the second among Asian countries following Hong Kong, health officials said.

South Korea has stepped up inspections of inbound travellers after the first suspected case was reported on Monday.

It carries out rapid antigen tests on inbound travellers who are suffering from fever or symptoms of respiratory illness and restricts travel to Mexico, the epicentre of the outbreak.

If confirmed through laboratory tests, patients will immediately be isolated. Travellers to Mexico and the United States will also be educated on the prevention of swine flu, health officials said.

South Korea said it would double its stockpile of Tamiflu and other anti-influenza drugs to treat up to five million people.

and the swine flu's arnd... ppl pls keep hygiene, and pls REFRAIN from DIGGING UR NOSE IN PUBLIC, ACCIDENTALLY SPITTIN SALIVA AND INSTEAD OF CLEARING UP U SMUDGE IT ALL OVER THE PLACE, SCRATCHING UR HAIR LIKE MAD IN PUBLIC, AND ACCIDENTALLY FARTING. *ahem* u-noe-who.

i wonder why they call it 猪流感, coz apparently the disease did not originate totally from PIGS. why dont they call it 禽流感 or 人流感 huh?? PREJUDICE AGAINST PIGS.

and because of the darned swine flu, my trip to NEW ZEALAND may be cancelled T.T all our things for the trip has been bought, what u wan us to do?? REFUND IZZIT. -.-
